Bounce House Phoenix – Top 10 Guide
If you are renting a bounce house in Phoenix, AZ this is a must read!
Phoenix, AZ – Rent a bounce house for your party or special event in the Phoenix and Scottsdale metro area!
At AZ Party Rents, we want your event to go well. There are a lot of things to consider when renting a bounce house… So we created a bounce house rental guide for people who are looking to rent a bouncy house.
1) Use a reputable company.
Unfortunately there are a lot of people out there who run bounce businesses part time or “occasionally” on weekends. There are also companies who provide party rentals and event services every day of the week… One thing to determine is how professional are they. Will they send you an invoice/agreement? Will they collect a deposit? Are they quick to get back to you? Are they insured?
Many part timers just don’t show up. We get calls all the time from people who need last minute help due to the failures of other companies.
2) You get what you pay for.
If you find someone renting a bounce house for an obscenely low price, you pretty much need to understand that you get what you pay for. We are constantly complimented by our customers on the quality of our units, the customer service and professionalism we provide, and the attention to detail and safety we take. We do our best to offer a great value- but we work even harder to make sure your event goes great.
3) Be prepared to watch the bounce house.
You can not rent a bounce house and consider it the “baby sitter.” A bounce is an amusement device and it’s usage must be monitored by a responsible adult. If you are planning on renting a bounce house, then count on being present with it, or ask the company to provide staff to run it (be prepared for an additional fee.)
4) Get a unit that is appropriate for your kids and size of group.
If you are planning on having a large group of kids at your event, we recommend booking more than just a bounce house rental in phoenix. Many people in the area rent larger packages of inflatables. We have all kinds of things available- from bounce houses to slides, to obstacle courses, the bungee run, joust game, and so many more fun games!
5) Clean the yard.
If you have a dog or pet that uses the yard, pick up after it. Mow the grass a few days prior. If you are putting it on the driveway or on cement, sweep the area from any debris that could get caught in a kids foot.
6) Bounce houses can weigh a lot.
Notify the company delivering the bounce house of any stairs or hills that may exist between where the bounce house delivery truck will be parked and where you anticipate the set up. It will help them to prepare for the rental and it will help you to understand if what you are hoping for is possible.
7) Measure the space.
Make sure you get some measurements for the unit. Make sure you determine that the space you have in mind for the unit is large enough for the bounce house. Also, the power typically has to be within about 50ft of where the unit is. So you need to be aware of this, and you need to make sure that the power is the accessible and turned on!
8) Be there for delivery.
Renting a bounce house typically requires that you be there for the set up and the tear down of the unit. If you are unavailable for a rental delivery or pick up, have someone there in your stead. Make sure this person has the agreement and safety rules paperwork with your signature on it- and communicate this with the bounce house rental company so that the driver is aware…
9) Try and get all your party rental needs on one truck.
It makes absolutely no sense to have a ton of different companies to your house. Just order everything from one company and make it worth their while. We have tents, tables, chairs, and just about everything you need to throw a party or event. Everything from bouncers to slides, to rock walls, carnival games, dunk tanks, and so much more!
10) Tip your delivery guy!
This guy works his butt off on weekends to make sure that you can have a great party. The work he does is hard. Even offering a cold drink, some food, or something when they are done rolling up the bouncer is a nice gesture. Just let the person know what they are doing is appreciated!
