Party Catering Options in Phoenix and Scottsdale
Even though some people have fun with the idea of catering their own gatherings, many others choose to pay other people to handle the catering for them.
If you are planning a party in Phoenix or Scottsdale, there are many ways for you to go about choosing catering.
A number of people decide on the individual carts similar to what you find at carnivals. This allows the guests to choose what they want to eat from a few sources instead of having to stand in line and select from several different menu items.
This set up works very well for those who are using the facilities in a gymnasium or other large room and want to limit the space needed for serving food. Outdoor carnivals, picnics and other events work perfectly with this sort of catering option.
If you are hosting an inside party, you can pick from either a buffet or sit down event. If you are hosting the party in your home, it may be better to pick the sit down catering option because the cooks and servers can prepare the food in the kitchen for the servers to set on the tables.
You can also choose individual place settings or the caterer can serve the meals family style. You do want to keep in mind that caters charge more per plate for sit down affairs than they do for the buffet set up.
For anyone who is hosting an event in a quite big venue, you can choose the buffet style catering affair. Should you choose this option, generally the chef will prepare the food and then everything will be positioned on banquet tables over hot warming pans.
In most affairs the servers will call the tables one at a time and only after everybody has gotten the first plate are they free to come and go as they please.
The hostess makes the selection of foods with usually 2-3 different meats available. Based on the affair, even the buffet dinner can include regular plates and silverware. It isn’t necessarily a rule of thumb for paper plates to accompany a buffet catering affair.
The type of catering you choose depends upon personal preference and the types of event you’re hosting, but in spite of either, there are various catering options in Phoenix and Scottsdale.
