Rock Climbing – Safety Device
The rock wall is inspected for safety and climbers wear safety harnesses attached to an auto – belay system which keeps them from falling. This is a huge improvement on many of the rock walls out on the rental market. Often rock walls are manual belay- which basically consists of a staff person holding a rope. In our opinion this leaves too much room open for human error. The auto belay system on our climbing wall is always ready to catch a climber should they slip.
